Cart Hire

Terms & Conditions

By submitting this enquiry, you are acknowledging that the below terms must be agreed to, and that a valid licence must be shown to a KGC Official at the course at the time of cart hire.

• A maximum of two persons and two sets of golf clubs per cart.
• Care must be taken when crossing bridges.
• Use of the cart is restricted to the fairways, and must NOT be driven into drains, areas marked 'GUR' (Ground Under Repair), and must follow cart direction signs.
• The hirer shall at all times operate the cart with due care — this includes not driving over mounds or onto the greens. Carts shall be parked a suitable distance away from the tees and front of the greens when leaving the cart to play.
• The hirer shall not tamper or interfere with the body or motor components of the cart at any time.
• The hirer confirms knowledge of the operation, use and control of the golf cart and that these terms and conditions will be complied with, including any instructions attached to the cart.
• The cart must be returned immediately following completion of play in the same good condition it was received in, with normal wear and tear exempted.
• The hirer is responsible for any damage to the cart caused during the time of hire.
• The hirer shall indemnify the proprietor from all claims, damages and costs of any nature that may arise while the cart is under hire.
• The hirer must be fully licenced to drive a motor vehicle. Under no circumstances are persons under 18 years of age permitted to drive the golf cart.
• Failure to comply with these terms and conditions shall result in the hirer being instructed to vacate the course and return to the clubhouse, with no refund of hiring charges due.
